Place the water in a medium-sized pot with high sides
When boiling, add the pasta
Season with salt and cook until the pasta is al dente
Drain it
Melt the butter with garlic and combine it with the pasta
Mix well
Remove from heat and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese
Mix delicately and serve in individual plates
Serve immediately
