In a large saucepan, dissolve the sugar in 250ml of water
Acesse and add the salt and anise seeds
Let it boil
Remove from heat and add the flour, mixing until the dough forms
Add the egg, stirring constantly
In a frying pan, heat the oil
Place the dough in a pastry bag or use a funnel to shape fritters 10cm long
Fry the fritters until golden brown
Drain on paper towels and dust with sugar
Serve.
