Boil the water with the butter or margarine and salt
Reduce heat and add the flour in one go, stirring well until it forms a smooth paste at the bottom of the pan
Remove from heat and add the beaten eggs, mixing until a smooth batter forms
Place this batter into a large piping bag and shape into mounds on a greased baking sheet
Bake in a preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes and then open the oven to check if they are done
Remove from oven, split each mini cake in half and let cool
Fill with vanilla or whipped cream, as desired
Optional: add raspberry coulis.
