4 green tomato slices
200g of cornstarch
Bacon strips
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Fresh parsley for garnish
Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds (about 2 inches)
Season with salt and pepper, then coat the tomato slices in cornstarch
Cover the bottom of a frying pan with bacon and heat it up
Fry the tomato slices in the bacon fat until they're golden brown on both sides
Drain on paper towels
Top the tomato slices with used bacon bits from the frying process
Garnish with fresh parsley.
