    German-Style Twist: Add 2 tablespoons of chicken broth to the dough mixture.

    Swedish-Style Twist: Add 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons of melted butter, and grated lemon zest to the dough mixture. Cut into a rectangle shape and make a cut in the middle and pull one end through this cut to form a loop.

    Australian-Style Twist: Omit the warm water from the basic recipe and add 3 eggs and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon. Cut in the same way as the Swedish-style twists.

    Greek-Style Twist: The dough is made with: 6 eggs, 2 3/4 cups of wheat flour, 1/3 cup of oil, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Loops are also made, which after being fried are dusted with confectioner's sugar and cinnamon.

    Italian-Style Twist: Basic recipe plus 1/2 cup of confectioner's sugar and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Cut in the way you desire.

    North African-Style Twist: Cut the basic recipe into strips and roll them one by one around the handle of a wooden spoon and fry individually in plenty of hot fat. When removing, dip in warm honey.
