3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of all-purpose flour
2 cups of milk
2 tablespoons of butter
For the filling:
100g of mortadela sliced
100g of mozzarella sliced
3 to 4 ripe tomatoes, cut into slices
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of all-purpose flour
2 cups of milk
2 tablespoons of butter
For the filling:
100g of mortadela sliced
100g of mozzarella sliced
3 to 4 ripe tomatoes, cut into slices
Combine the five ingredients for the batter in a blender and blend for 1 minute, mixing well
Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
Make each French toast with 3 tablespoons of batter, using a non-stick skillet with an 18cm diameter, lightly greased
Takes care not to leave the edges too thin
Lay the prepared French toasts on a plate while preparing the others
Assemble the tower: place one French toast in a round refractory mold and cover with tomato slices
Place another French toast on top, cover with mozzarella slices, then another French toast and mortadela slices
Repeat the operation until all ingredients are used up, ending with one French toast
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted
Serve directly in the mold
Serve 4 to 6 servings.
