Dough:
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of butter, softened
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
3/4 cup of milk.
Filling:
2 cups of milk
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
3 egg yolks
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of pineapple juice, drained
1/2 cup of cherry sauce, strained
Dough:

In a mixer, combine the sugar and butter until creamy
Add the eggs and mix well
Gradually add the flour with baking powder, alternating with milk, and beat gently
Pour into a greased and floured 9x13-inch baking dish and bake at medium heat
Let cool
For the filling, bring the milk, cornstarch, egg yolks, and vanilla extract to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened
Spread the cold cream on top of the dough and cover with pineapple
Finish with cherry sauce.
