5 ripe but firm bananas

Whisk together the eggs, sugar, and water
Add the grated lemon zest and flour, whisking well
Pour into a greased cake pan and bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes
Let it cool
While the batter is baking, peel the bananas, cut them into slices, toss with lime juice and sprinkle with sugar
Cover the cooled batter with banana slices
Top with whipped cream that's not too firm.
