1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup of cold water
3 tablespoons of unsweetened coffee
1/3 cup of sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 egg whites
1/3 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of whipped cream
1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup of cold water
3 tablespoons of unsweetened coffee
1/3 cup of sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 egg whites
1/3 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of whipped cream
Soak the gelatin in cold water
Mix together the coffee, 1/3 cup of sugar, and eggs
Add the milk gradually
Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until the mixture thickens slightly
Remove from heat immediately
Add the gelatin and stir until it dissolves completely
Add the vanilla extract
Refrigerate until partially set
Beat until stiff peaks form
Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl
Gradually add 1/3 cup of sugar to the egg whites
Add the gelatin mixture
Add the whipped cream
Place on top of an already-baked cake
Refrigerate.
