1 package of pie crust dough
Filling
1 cup of white beans
3 tablespoons of salt
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
to taste
1/2 pound of ground beef, cut into small cubes
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1 1/2 cups of tomato sauce
1 bay leaf
1 medium-sized onion, cut into 4 pieces
3 medium-sized carrots, peeled and sliced into 2cm thick rounds
3 stalks of celery, cut into bite-sized pieces

Filling
1 cup of white beans

Place the white beans in a bowl
Cover with 2 1/2 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of salt
Let it soak for one day or simmer on low heat for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and let it rest for 1 hour
Mix together the flour, salt, and pepper
Place in a plastic bag
Add the ground beef and mix well
Brown the meat in hot oil
Combine with chopped onion, tomato sauce, salt, and bay leaf
Cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes
Add the white beans, chopped onion, carrots, celery, and 6 cups of water
Cover and simmer until the meat is tender
Let it cool and place in a refrigerator-safe dish
Top with pie crust dough and bake in oven until golden brown
If desired, brush with egg wash
