For the dough:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
For the filling:
3 onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 egg, beaten
For the dough:

Sift flour and yeast together
Place on a flat surface, add butter, and shape into a dough using a fork
Add the egg, salt, and knead the dough until it's smooth and elastic
Let rest for 15 minutes
Slice the onions thinly and sauté them in olive oil over low heat
Remove from heat and let cool
Roll out the dough and place it in the bottom and sides of a 9-inch springform pan
Cover with aluminum foil and fill with cooked beans
Bake at moderate temperature (350°F) for 15 minutes
Remove from oven, remove beans and foil
Whisk together cilantro, water, soy sauce, and egg
Distribute the onions over the dough and pour the cilantro mixture over the onions
Return to oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes
