Beat in a bowl the flour, honey, salt, cornstarch, and eggs
Melt the butter or margarine with the chocolate and mix with the vanilla and pecans into the flour mixture
Pour into a 9-inch springform pan coated with cake mix
Bake in a moderate oven (150°C) for 50-60 minutes or until the filling is almost set
Let cool (this cake can be made ahead)
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream
Cut into 6 portions.
