Whisk together the eggs, salt, and sweetened condensed milk; add the hot milk and vanilla extract gradually
Line a baking dish with cake batter, fill with the coconut filling, and sprinkle with grated nutmeg
Bake in a very hot oven for 10 minutes
Reduce the oven temperature to moderate and let it bake for another 30-40 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean
'Caramel' - Melt the sweetened condensed milk and mix with the hot milk before adding it to the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, etc
Coconut Filling - Add 1 cup of shredded coconut to the filling before baking.
