For the dough
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (300 g)
1 tablespoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces (150 g)
1 tablespoon paprika
1/3 cup cold water (80 ml)
For the filling
2 medium onions (200 g) finely chopped
1/4 cup olive oil (60 ml)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
500 g crab meat
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 tablespoon red pepper sauce
1 cup coconut milk (200 ml)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour (30 g)
1 egg, beaten (for brushing)

Prepare the dough: in a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, butter, and paprika
Mix with your fingers until it forms a crumbly texture
Add the water and knead slightly with your hands
Form into a ball and wrap in plastic film
Refrigerate
Prepare the filling: in a medium saucepan, combine the onion, olive oil, and cumin
Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until the onion is soft (about 5 minutes)
Add the remaining ingredients except for the flour and mix well
Reduce heat to medium and cook until the filling is homogeneous (about 10 minutes)
Add the flour and, while mixing, let it thicken (about 3 minutes)
Let cool
Preheat oven to 350°F
Roll out the dough directly onto the bottom of a 20 cm diameter tart pan with a removable bottom
Trim the excess dough from the edges and press the dough into the corners of the pan
Form small rolls with some of the remaining dough, and press them, one by one, against the side of the pan until it is covered
Trim the excess dough from the edges
Recover the filling with the dough, pressing the edge to seal well
Brush with the beaten egg
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown (about 35 minutes)
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving
