Place the cleaned and dried broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots in a covered refrigerator

Microwave for 10 minutes at high power. Reserve

In a medium bowl, combine the butter and onion
Cook for 1 minute at high power
Add the flour and cheese
Mix, add a little milk, mix again, and bake for an additional 1 minute

Add more milk, mix, and cook for another 1 minute
Mix well, pour in the remaining milk, and cook for an additional 3 minutes

Halfway through cooking time, mix again and season with salt
Serve the cream over the vegetables or as a sauce in a serving dish.
