4 cups of high-quality red wine

In a large pot, combine the ingredients, except for the wine, and bring to a simmer, stirring well to dissolve the cinnamon
Once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let it rest for 30 minutes
Strain and reserve
When serving, mix with the wine, warm it up, and pour into glasses.
