Sift together the flour, yeast, and salt and add the sugar
Then, at a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, milk, and melted butter, and pour into the mixture, stirring until smooth
Beat the egg whites until fluffy and fold them gently into the batter, which should now be smooth and thick
Pour the batter into the waffle iron in small amounts and spread evenly with a spatula
Close the waffle iron and cook for 2 minutes
Flip and cook for another 2 minutes
Open the waffle iron carefully and, if necessary, release the waffle from the top using a spatula
Serve with various toppings such as syrups, or gelatins, honey, condensed milk, and even butter.
