Soak the thyme in boiling water with salt for five minutes
Then drain and reserve the liquid

Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet, add the onion and cook for five minutes or until transparent
Add the thyme and reserved liquid
Cook for 15 minutes over low heat

Add the coriander, lemon juice, and green onion
Cook for three minutes
Serve hot as a side dish or cold as an appetizer.
