In a large saucepan, sauté the garlic in hot olive oil over high heat until it starts to brown
Mix in the rice and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes
Add the broth, salt, and mix well
Let it boil, then reduce the heat, cover the saucepan, and cook for about 10 minutes
Add the pecans and stir quickly
Continue cooking with the saucepan covered until the rice is tender (about 10 minutes)
Remove from heat and serve immediately
