3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
"2/3 cup of chopped fresh parsley with leaves"
2 tablespoons of finely chopped green onion
1 tablespoon of finely chopped thyme
1 1/2 cups of water
zest of 1 orange, grated
1 cup of orange juice
salt to taste
1 cup of uncooked rice

Melt the butter in a saucepan
Add the parsley, green onion, thyme and sauté for about 5 minutes
Combine the water, orange juice, zest, and salt
Let it come to a boil
Add the rice gradually, stirring well
Cover the saucepan
Reduce heat and cook for 25 minutes or until the rice is cooked
Serve warm.
