Salt, black pepper, and olive oil

Wash, select, and cook the lentils
Fry finely chopped onions in olive oil until they're golden brown
In a pan, using the olive oil from frying the onions, caramelize the garlic
Add the lentils, rice, black pepper, and salt and sauté everything together
Pour in water to fill the pan two fingers above the ingredients
Let it cook
When serving the rice with lentils, garnish the plate with the caramelized onions
