Wash the rice in cold running water, drain and reserve
In a saucepan, heat the olive oil and add the rice
Stir-fry until it starts to stick to the pan
Add the pineapple pieces, stir-fry for another minute and season with salt
Add hot water, mix well, and cover the saucepan
Reduce the heat and cook until the rice is tender
If necessary, add more hot water
Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
