2 cups cooked soybeans
1 cup cooked brown rice
1 chopped onion
1 grated carrot
2 cloves pressed garlic
1 3/4 teaspoons dried oregano

1/2 cup wheat germ or more
butter or margarine for frying
salt to taste

Mash the cooked soybeans well and mix with the brown rice
Add the chopped onion, grated carrot, and garlic
Add the dried oregano, eggs, and wheat germ
Mix well
Add salt to taste and mix again
If the mixture is too wet, add a little more wheat germ
Shape into hamburgers and fry in butter or margarine on both sides until golden brown
Make 12 hamburgers.
