Heat the olive or margarine in a pan, add the onion and sauté lightly
Add the rice and stir-fry until it is translucent
Add the boiling water and salt (the water should be 3 cm above the rice)
Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes
Cover and cook for another 15 minutes, until all the water has evaporated
