12 chicken wings
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons grated ginger
1 tablespoon dry sherry wine or Madeira
2 slices of fresh ginger
12 chicken wings

In a wok, place the chicken wings with all the ingredients
Add 1/3 cup of water and let it come to a boil
Cover and cook slowly over low heat for about 20 minutes, or until cooked, stirring occasionally
Remove the cover and cook while still moistening the chicken wings, for another 15 minutes
Let it cool and serve chilled.
