To prepare this dish, you'll need a thick slice of tender and high-quality beef
Baste the meat to achieve an even texture
Place thin slices of prosciutto on top of the meat, covering it completely, season with a pinch of salt, pepper, and oregano
Wrap the meat tightly around itself using a string or twine
Thread the wrapped meat onto skewers, brush with melted olive oil or butter or margarine and cook for about 30 minutes, basting several times to prevent drying out
When the meat is cooked and nicely browned, remove it from the skewer and serve hot or cold with a tomato salad accompaniment
