Let the raisins soak in the rhum
Follow the basic baba dough recipe at the moment when you add the butter and mix well
Add the raisins and mix well
Place in a ring mold with a diameter of 25 cm, greased and let rise for approximately 1 1/2 hour
To bake, proceed as per the basic recipe
For the sauce: In a pan, mix sugar and water and bring to a boil
Cook slowly for about 10 minutes
Turn off the heat and add rhum and lemon juice
Let it cool slightly and pour still warm over the baba, so that it is well soaked
Serve with whipped cream in the center, if desired
