2 fillets of 300 g (each) of cod
400 g of potato wedges, roasted for 30 minutes (or until tender)
200 g of broccoli
4 cups (chopped) of water
4 cups (chopped) of milk
500 ml of olive oil
2 eggs
2 cups (chopped) of breadcrumbs
1 onion, sliced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups (chilled) of Porto wine (preferably Ferreira Dona Antonia)

Step 1: Desalinate the cod by soaking it in water for 5 days (change the water every 12 hours)
On the sixth day, soak the cod in milk for 12 hours
Cook the broccoli quickly in boiling water
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan
Beat the eggs and dip the cod fillets into them
Dust with breadcrumbs and fry in the olive oil
Step 2: Arrange the cod, onion, garlic, broccoli, and potatoes in a baking dish
Baste with 2 tablespoons of the olive oil used to fry the cod and bake at high heat for 10 minutes
Heat the Porto wine
Remove the cod from the oven, pour the Porto wine over it, and serve.
