1/4 cups of olive oil
2 tablespoons of chopped coriander
2 tablespoons of chopped chives
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon of grated ginger
500g of salted cod
2 liters of water
12 whole cloves
3 bird's eye chilies
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 envelope of dried oregano
1/4 cups of olive oil

500g of salted cod
2 liters of water
12 whole cloves

Soak the salted cod in cold water overnight over a fine-mesh sieve in a large bowl with some water, without allowing it to come into contact with any excess salt that may settle at the bottom
Change the water at least five times
On the day of preparation, bring the cod to a boil in the water for five minutes, remove from heat, drain and shred
Mash two chilies and chop the third one
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat, then add the chopped onion, coriander, chives, salted cod, and mashed chili peppers
Stir well
Add the whole cloves, grated ginger, and dried oregano
Mix well
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes
Remove from heat and serve with bread.
