1/3 cup of apricots, pit removed

1 tablespoon of orange juice
1/3 cup of cornstarch (mixed with 2 tablespoons of orange juice to form a paste)
2 large bananas, not too ripe

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)
In a saucepan, combine the apricots, water, butter or margarine, orange juice, and cornstarch mixture
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble
Remove from heat
Peel the bananas and cut them in half
Place in a baking dish and drizzle with the glaze
Bake for 10 minutes, basting several times
Serve warm
