4 ripe or green bananas (nanica)

4 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
8 tablespoons of creamy ricotta cheese

Cut the bananas in half lengthwise
Place them in a greased baking dish and brush with lime juice
Sprinkle with grated lime peel and sugar
Moisten with melted butter or margarine and bake at 170°F for about 10 minutes
Top each banana half with 1 tablespoon of ricotta cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
