4 bananas
1 lightly beaten egg
all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 cup of fresh or canned whipped cream
2 teaspoons of grated ginger
1 teaspoon of rum
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Cut the bananas in half lengthwise and then cut each piece in half again
Paste in egg and then coat with flour
Fry in butter or margarine until golden brown on both sides
Mix remaining ingredients and serve over warm bananas
Serve 2 to 4 portions
