2 tablespoons of oil
3 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into thin slices
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
1/2 cup of finely chopped green bell pepper
2 cups of canned beef (one can) cut into fine strips
3 eggs
1/2 cup of grated melted cheese
2 tablespoons of oil
3 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into thin slices

Melt the oil in a 25 cm diameter skillet
Place half of the potato slices at the bottom; sprinkle with salt and pepper
Cover with half of the onion and green bell pepper, seasoning again with salt and pepper
Cover with half of the beef
Repeat the layers of vegetables, reserving the remaining beef to decorate on top
Cover the skillet and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes
Break the eggs into a bowl; mix and pour over the potatoes, spreading the eggs evenly with a fork
Add the remaining beef, forming the desired design
Cover the skillet and cook until the eggs are set
Cover with cheese and cook for an additional 2 minutes, until the cheese starts to melt
Cut into slices
Serve 5 to 6 portions.
