Peel and cut the potatoes into uniform pieces

In a large skillet, put at least 1/3 of the volume of vegetable oil
Let it heat up well, but not too hot
Dry the potatoes with a kitchen towel and add them to the hot oil gradually
Use a slotted spoon

The potatoes should sink, but don't stir with the slotted spoon, as they will start to fry and then return to the surface
When they start to brown, remove them with the slotted spoon, as they will continue to darken after removing from the pan due to being covered in hot oil
Finally, let them drain on a paper towel spread out well.
