3 large or 4 medium potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes
Cut into thin slices or sticks
Place on paper towels and dry thoroughly
Heat enough oil in a frying pan to reach about 2 inches deep
Add the potatoes gradually and fry until they are golden brown on all sides
Remove with a slotted spoon and let excess oil drip off onto paper towels
Repeat the process until all the potatoes are fried
Sprinkle with salt to taste
Serve hot twice.
