1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour

2/3 cup of unsalted butter at room temperature
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 well-beaten egg
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

Sift the flour and yeast together
Set aside
Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl until smooth, then beat in the egg
Add the vanilla
Gradually add the sifted ingredients to the mixture until well combined
Place the dough into a piping bag with a smaller tip and pipe onto an ungreased baking sheet
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes or until golden brown
If desired, add 30g of melted and cooled dark chocolate to half of the dough
Yields 416 cookies, each weighing approximately 2g, or 208 cookies.
