For the biscuits: mix together the butter or margarine, sugar, and vanilla
Add in the flour and knead with your hands on a floured surface until well combined
Add in the milk and continue to knead until fully absorbed
Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (180°C)
Take a small amount of the dough and shape into balls
Fill each ball with a small amount of filling and form into spheres
Place on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving about 2 cm of space between each biscuit
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown
Let cool completely before coating
For the coating: melt the chocolate in a small pan over low heat
Add in the butter or margarine and Karo, stirring until fully melted
Use as desired
