1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 tablespoon of milk
2 cups of wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 cup of hazelnuts or chopped nuts
1 lightly beaten egg white
3/4 cup of chopped nuts or hazelnuts for coating the biscuits
1 cup of butter
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 tablespoon of milk
2 cups of wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 cup of hazelnuts or chopped nuts
1 lightly beaten egg white
3/4 cup of chopped nuts or hazelnuts for coating the biscuits
Cream the butter with vanilla
Add the all-purpose flour gradually, beating well
Add the egg and milk, beating again
Sift the wheat flour with baking powder
Add to the mixture slowly, mixing well
Add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts
Shape the dough into balls about 2 cm in diameter
Coat each ball in egg white and then in remaining nuts
Place on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving a 2 cm space between the biscuits
Make a depression in the center of each biscuit with your finger
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for about 15 to 18 minutes
While baking, press each biscuit gently with the back of a spoon to maintain the depression
When baked, remove from oven and fill each biscuit with a small amount of gelato
