Reserve 1 cup
Combine the remaining ingredients with the meringue
Mix and let it rest for 30 minutes
Roll out the dough on a surface dusted with confectioner's sugar
Cut into star shapes
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and brush with the reserved meringue
Bake in a slow oven for about 15 minutes.
