1 cup shredded coconut from a package

Cream the butter or margarine with the sugar
Add the remaining ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon or your hands until a dough forms
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick
Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes, preheat the oven to moderate temperature (170°F), and place the cookies in an ungreased baking dish
Bake for 10 minutes or until slightly golden brown
If desired, top with whipped cream or strawberry slices.
