One-third cup of olive oil
Three-fourths cup of water
1 1/2 cups of cornmeal (azedo or 2 cups of sweet cornmeal)
Half-cup of Minas cheese, grated fine
3 eggs

Place the olive oil and water in a large saucepan and bring to a boil
Remove from heat and add the cornmeal
Mix well and add the grated cheese and eggs, mixing constantly
Mix very well and place in a pastry bag with a large nozzle
Arrange the dough in a baking sheet, in strips, letters or other shapes
Bake in a hot oven (400°F), preheated, for about 35 minutes or until dry
You will have 24 cookies.
