Season the steaks with garlic, salt, and lemon juice. Reserve
Rinse the endive leaves well and slice them into strips. Reserve
In a skillet, heat the olive oil, sauté the onion and bell pepper until tender
Add the endive, season with salt and thyme, stir gently to combine, cover the pan and turn off the heat to allow the endive to cook in its own steam and crisp up
Grill the steaks on both sides until browned
Serve with the sautéed endive
This dish can be served with white rice.
