zest of 1/2 orange, grated
zest of 1/2 lemon, grated
500g of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon of butter, softened
2 small eggs
2 tablespoons of baking soda
1 tablespoon of rum
250g of confectioner's sugar

Bring the honey to a boil with the cinnamon, cloves, orange zest, and lemon zest
Let it simmer
Place half of the flour in a bowl
Add the hot honey mixture and mix well
Add the softened butter and mix until the dough cools slightly
Sift the remaining flour and baking soda over the dough
Mix well
Beat the eggs and add them to the dough, mixing equally
Add the rum and knead well
Let the dough rest for a few days in the refrigerator
Knead again
Roll out on a lightly floured surface
Cut into circles using a cup
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at moderate temperature for 15 minutes, or until golden
Mix the confectioner's sugar with lemon juice to achieve a good consistency for spreading
Spread on the biscuits while they're still warm.
