In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients to obtain a homogeneous mass
Cover and let it rest at room temperature for an hour or until the dough becomes consistent
In a medium saucepan, heat the oil over high heat
When it's very hot, fry spoonfuls of the dough until the fritters are golden brown
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels
Serve while still warm.
