12 medium sweet potatoes

Boil the sweet potatoes until they are very tender

Drain and mash them at room temperature

Add the remaining ingredients and cook over low heat until excess moisture evaporates

For the filling, melt the butter and sauté the onion and spinach

Combine the milk with flour and season with salt

Cook until it thickens slightly

Divide the sweet potato mixture into small portions and place a bit of the filling in the center

Roll them into balls and arrange them in a greased baking dish
