1/2 cup of butter or margarine
1 2/3 cups of granulated sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of melted bitter chocolate
2 cups of all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/3 cup of milk
1/2 cup of chopped nuts
Confectioner's sugar, sifted

Beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract
Add the eggs and continue beating
Add the chocolate
Sift together the dry ingredients and add them to the egg mixture alternately with milk
Add the nuts
Refrigerate for 3 hours
Shape into balls of 2 1/2 cm
Place in a greased baking dish, leaving 5 cm between each one
Bake in a moderate oven for 15 minutes
Let cool slightly and remove from the baking dish
Make 4 batches.
