3 cups of grated cassava
4 tablespoons of butter or margarine

1/8 teaspoon of salt
3 cups of cassava (about 1 kg)

Peel the cassava, grate it, and squeeze out excess liquid with a fine-mesh sieve
Set aside 3 cups of this mixture and reserve
Beat the butter or margarine with the grated cassava, adding eggs one at a time
Continue beating
Add salt and cassava mixture
Mix very well
Pour into a greased form and bake in a regular oven for about 50 minutes.
