100 g of bittersweet chocolate tablets

2 tablespoons active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
1 cup unsalted butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 eggs plus 1 egg yolk
100 g of bittersweet chocolate tablets

Melt the chocolate and let it cool slightly
Sift together flour, sugar, salt, and yeast
Beat the butter just until it softens for 30 seconds
Add the sifted ingredients
Combine milk and vanilla extract at once
Beat for 2 minutes
Add eggs, egg yolk, and chocolate; beat for 1 more minute, scraping down the sides of the bowl frequently
Pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish
Bake in a moderate oven preheated to 170°C (340°F) for 60-70 minutes
Release the cake from the pan and let it cool.
