Separate the whites from the yolks
Beat the yolks, butter, and almonds until creamy
When the mixture is smooth, add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and baking powder
Beat for a few more minutes
Add the milk, flour, and chocolate
Beat again. Reserve
In another bowl, beat the whites until stiff peaks form
Fold into the batter with a spatula
Bake in a moderate oven for about 30 minutes
Let cool, then cut into squares
Serving suggestion: Serve warm with cocoa syrup and whipped cream

In a pan, combine milk and chocolate
Stir until the chocolate is completely melted
Add almonds and stir for a few more minutes
Serve hot over the cake.
