1 cup of chopped nuts
1/2 cup of confectioner's sugar
1/3 cup of butter
1/4 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of oats

Mix together the oats, damask fruit, and butter in a bowl with boiling water
Let it cool down
Beat the eggs and confectioner's sugar well
Alternately add the flour and damask mixture to the bowl
Pour into a greased cake pan and bake at moderate heat (180°F) for 35 minutes
Mix everything together very well, then put it in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until uniform
Spread over the cake and bake in the oven or under the broiler until bubbly.
